Love in the Morning

By Paris Grey

In the silence of the morning
I turn and watch you sleeping
I lay my head upon your chest
and breathe in your essence
as your eyelids flicker
you stir and pull me close

You gently open your eyes
no words are needed
you kiss my forehead gently
and lull me back to sleep

I wake again but you are gone,
your fragrence lingers on my pillow
and your love lingers in my heart
I smile to myself for I am happy
saved by your love...
